Celebrating the life of

Pat Carlino

Passed away on August 16, 2025

Pat Carlino

Pasquale Carlino, known affectionately as “Pat” to his family and many friends passed away following a brief illness August 16, 2025. He was 93.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Phyllis, his sons William and Bruce and their spouses Leeann and Ginny, his grandchildren, Katherine (Zach), Alexandra (Andy), Peter (Austin) and Danielle (Ahsan) and his great grandchildren, Emilia and Easton. Also, by his stepson Kenneth (Beth) and step grandchildren Natalie, Abagail, Teddy, Leland, Faye and Aaron.

Pat was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served for several years as a member of the New York Police Department. Following his tenure with the NYPD he became an insurance adjuster. He attended Brooklyn College and later earned psychology and counseling degrees from the New School of Social Research and New York Institute of Technology.

Afterwards he turned his career focus to working as an addiction specialist in New York at South Oaks Hospital and eventually for a number of city-run agencies when he relocated to Savannah. While there he helped many patients overcome their drug and alcohol dependency and turn their lives around.

Pat was a well-known resident in Savannah’s Landings community and was often referred to as the unofficial “Mayor.” He was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and his passions included golf, bocce, physical fitness and all things Italian.

A celebration of his life will be held later in September.
